EXAMPLE 1 (Stats and Keyrings)

There are quite a few "pingers" right now:
Remops (or other people) offering keyrings, stats,
   in various formats (V1/V2 TXT/HTML RSA/RSA+DSS/DSS/MIX, .asc/binary)
   under various channels (HTTP, FINGER, MAIL, GOPHER)
Such pingers come and go, and announce (or not) their birth or death

My "All Pingers'" page ( http://frogadmin.yi.org/Pingers.html )
 had the ambition to collect *all* such information
It contains *hundreds* of links
I was not able to maintain it properly for more than a year now.
I did not drop it though, because
  users are still interested by the equivalences to switch pingers sources
  there is no "better competitor"

My "MetaStats" page ( http://frogadmin.yi.org/MetaStats/ )
 limits its ambitions to main types of stats/keyrings.
It still contains nearly a hundred links.
I would like to avoid the manual work involved with the maintenance.
The workload has deterred "competitors", while I believe the output is interesting
